What are you doing this summer? Summer camp?

School’s out and summer is here. What are you going to do with your free time? Many boarding schools offer summer camp experiences ranging from a summer school style to sports camps. Here are a few options to consider:

Summer School

Know that your math class will be a challenge? Want to prepare for the SAT? Need to improve your English language skills? Check out programs that offer academic specialties like SAT prep and ESL/ELL programs with TOEFL prep. Summer school can be a great way to get a leg up on the coming school year.

Sports Camps

A great way to push yourself athletically in the summer is to participate in a sports camp. With offerings ranging from short 3-day sessions, like Cheshire Academy’s football camp, to 4-week programs like their basketball camp, there’s something that will fit your schedule, and get you ready for the coming season.

Sports and Academics Camps

Boarding schools like Cheshire Academy sometimes offer combination programs that let you get the best of both worlds. Spend part of your day preparing academically and the other part of the day pushing yourself athletically.

Arts Camps

There are plenty of arts camp experiences, too. From visual arts to performing arts, you can find something that fits your needs.
