Granting Wishes Every Year…

Thanks, Rizzolo-Larson Grant!

Ever wanted to spend a summer at an archeological dig on a Roman Fortress? Or spend your break in Fiji with a local family, learning about new customs while building a local school for kids? These are just a few of the many exciting opportunities that Cheshire Academy is hoping to give you during your high school career. Through our annual Rizzolo-Larson Venture Grant, each year a handful of imaginative students are offered up to $5,000 in funding to carry out innovative projects that are unique, exciting and demonstrate “outside the box” classroom learning.

Applying is easy! Students must write their proposals and apply directly to the Venture Grant committee, which you will learn more about during morning meeting. Once the committee has made a decision and financial awards are granted, student recipients must then work on their projects during the summer months and present their experiences in the fall through an all-school presentation.
